Elaine Steele of Lost Creek Farm has specialized for 30+ years, in boarding horses outdoors, in a more natural, healthier environment . Elaine with her husband Rick recently re-located to Lanark County. Lost Creek farm is located on 90 acres of open fields, grasslands and forest and is only 5 minutes from Heritage Perth and 45 minutes from Kanata.  All breeds and disciplines are welcome.

Originally from Plevna, Ontario, Elaine has a life time experience cultivating her passion for horses. These years include attending a 2 year Equine Studies Program at Humber College as well as raising, training, providing care and developing the important understanding of what horses need to live healthy and happy lives.

Elaine has spent many years competing in the show ring in a large variety of disciplines, but for the last 18 years has focused on competing in Competitive Trail  and Endurance Riding.  Elaine has been Canadian National Champion several times in both Endurance and Competitive Trail Riding, as well as receiving the title of AHA US  National Champion, and top Endurance Rider in Canada in Canadian rides for 2011.  Elaine has been the year end,  top Ontario rider in both disciplines several years.  She has not only trained and competed on, but also bred multiple Champion horses in the sport of Competitive Trail and Endurance Riding.
